Today, ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) systems are installed on most major expressways in Japan.

ETC is a system that automatically processes toll payments through wireless communication between tollgate equipment and onboard devices installed in vehicles and motorcycles.
More than 90% of vehicles using expressways pass through ETC lanes, demonstrating the system’s extremely high adoption rate.

Feature 2

Area Optimization Using ETCMoni

In addition to precise antenna and gate installation, SANGIKYO conducts radio field-strength measurements using ETCMoni, a proprietary electric field measurement device developed in-house.
This system allows measurement of communication field strength while vehicles are in motion, without interrupting system operations.
ETCMoni visualizes the radio field strength transmitted from ETC antennas installed at expressway toll gates and along highway main lines, enabling optimal communication coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is ETCMoni required?

ETCMoni is used for radio environment measurement and field adjustment in 5.8 GHz wireless communication environments, such as during on-site testing and system optimization.

Do you have experience collaborating with road operators?

Yes. We have extensive experience working with road operators on maintenance projects, site investigations, and infrastructure development.

Can ITS-related construction be performed at night or on weekends?

Yes. Nighttime and weekend work can be arranged after prior consultation and within the limits defined by labor regulations.
